A quick, mid-week Players’ Newsletter to provide a couple of updates to our audience. And you’ll see below, we’re debuting something called the ITM Watch List where our content team will try to highlight a handful of horses each week based on trips, pace dynamics, etc. Make sure to check it out and give us some feedback!
The 2021 ITM Audience Survey will conclude on Friday around 7PM. We’d appreciate you taking the time to give your opinions to help shape the future of the ITM Media Network.
If you complete the survey, you’ll be entered into a random drawing for a $500 wager this summer!
On July 11th, the price of ITM Plus will increase to $15 / Month or $149 / Year.
If you’re an existing Subscriber, you’ll be grandfathered and your price will stay the same. So no impact and thank you so much for your support!
For those that haven’t joined ITM Plus, you still have a couple of weeks to sign up and lock in the $10 / Month or $99 / Year pricing.
When we launched ITM plus, we weren’t sure what to expect. Our initial pricing was based on the idea that we’d be able to deliver 2-3 Exclusive Podcasts per month along with weekly written content.
Now that we’re several months in, we’ve hit our groove and are producing shows pretty much every week. In June, we’ve already released five ITM Plus podcasts with more to come. With that, after a slight price increase, we remain confident it’s the best value in premium horse racing content.
Again, you’ve got a couple of weeks to lock in pricing, ahead of what should be an exciting summer with offerings from Saratoga, Del Mar, and more!

ITM Watch List
Belmont Horses from PTF
6/20 R3 Ohtwoohthreefive: With a distance pedigree on both sides (by Belmont winner Union Rags out of a Galileo dam) I expected the 6 furlongs to be way too sharp but he ran an absolute blinder (that’s a good thing) closing really well against the flow at a massive price. Has to keep improving for George Weaver with time and distance.
6/20 R8 Water’s Edge: For a Donk firster, this one actually caught some cash into the teeth of the hot favorites and ran extremely well, showing impressive speed before just going down late. Another runner who seemingly has to come on for the run.
Woodbine Horses from Drew Coatney
6/19 R9 Boardroom: won in impressive fashion traveling wide and grinding late. Next out should run even bigger as looked visually to do just enough to get the win.
6/20 R10 Derzskii: odd ride, stalk pace, gave up halfway into FT bc horse couldn't quicken with the pack, then found best strides late and passed horses, jock realized had some horse, asked at 1/16th. Was never getting to winners but the effort was better than looked bc of jock.
6/20 R11 Lake Shore Drive: terrible break leaning on outside horse, the jockey had to pull up and settle horse. steadied as began to move into FT, big move outside against pace flow once widest. green-ness down the lane preventing a better placing. Better next out. Trn 8% 1st, 16% 2nd time
6/12 R11: #6 Knew as a Breeze: rated at the break, had to settle half through BS to lose position, pulled into race into turn (positive), made first move around FT to break apart race, NF effort 1/16, short horse should do better next. Continues to climb the Beyer ladder and only a matter of time before the next win.
6/13 R5: #3 Itmakesmewonder: near lead early and a bit of a shuffle out of it, stalked the pace and pulled nicely into race at top of stretch, good ride just too far back when the real running began
6/13 R7: #6 Magic Mountain: first-time starter had a rough go first out and will be much better next out. Smashed out of gate losing all early position, settled 4-6L of leaders, missed turn, a miracle to run on as well. expect better next out
6/13 R8: #5 Moon Over Montana: never had good position early and decided to go wide around the turn (5w), accelerated late against the flow a bit, and nabbed at the wire by horse who traveled easily 40ft less. Much the best.
Monmouth Horses from Eric Solomon
Monmouth Park 6/13 R7: Brina (6) was sent to post as the 4-5 favorite, and finished 3rd, beaten 2 and 1/4 lengths. I don't think the chart caller gave her trip justice, as the runner up in that race, Vicious Velma, made her life miserable for the majority of the race. Vicious Velma started next to Brina, and she leaned in on her while trying to secure her only position. Brina was relegated to 5th, and had to steady on heels into the first turn. She regrouped and had a lot of run headed into the far turn, but Paco couldn't get through a narrow opening on the rail when Isaac Castillo and Vicious Velma shut that hole off, forcing her to steady a second time. The trouble she ran into probably cost her the maiden score, as I think she was the best horse that day. She was a heavy a favorite, so I'm not sure the type of value you'll get next out, but I would definitely give her another chance.
Monmouth Park 6/13 R9: Frosted Faith (7) made his debut against some more experienced maiden special weight foes in a 5 and 1/2 Furlong turf sprint. He broke last of eight, but improved position out of the chute and on the backstretch. Isaac Castillo saved ground on the turn, but never really had a clear path to run through until late. I liked that he didn't fold when he was in tight quarters in the stretch, and he galloped out in front of the others after the wire. I thought this was a useful debut from a horse that might not be best suited for a turf sprint. I would play him back in his second start in a variety of different races.
