We’ve got some loaded Players’ Podcast episodes today that are must listens if you’re playing tomorrow. The first episode covers the Pick Six sequence at Aqueduct, featuring the return of turf racing at the NYRA oval, as well as full card coverage of Santa Anita’s card. Our other episode is all things Keeneland, with sale talk, renovation talk, book chatter, and of course discussing racing with Nick Tammaro.

Next week we will be ramping up our Derby coverage to full throttle, as Monster Pods, individual written previews, and more on the way. Now is the time to subscribe to ITM Plus, as many of those items will only be accessible through that site.

Finally, we’ve loved serving up the Derby Top 10’s for you all so much that we decided to put one together for the Oaks as well! See where JK and I stand on the majority of the Oaks field just a few weeks out from the first Friday in May.

MYWAYP,

PTF

Players’ Podcast - Aqueduct and Santa Anita

PTF and JK kick things off talking about JK’s move to NYC, the ITM Kentucky Derby coverage on Youtube, and the first day of grass racing in New York. Regarding the latter, they give thoughts, tips, analysis and betting advice on the Saturday Aqueduct Pick Six.

Then Dean Keppler of inthemoneypodcast.com drops by as he and PTF run through the whole card at Santa Anita on Saturday.

Players’ Podcast - Keeneland Saturday Special

PTF starts off with Cormac Breathnach to talk about the Saturday stakes at Keeneland, hear a bit more about the Keeneland renovation, and to preview next Friday’s horses-of-racing-age sale.

Next up it’s Nick Tammaro with lots of great ideas about the Keeneland late Pick Five on Saturday.

Last but not least, racing historian Jennifer Kelly is back with the story of how parimutuel wagering came to the Kentucky Derby — and how racing potentially saved itself in the process. For more from Jennifer, including info on how to buy her awesome books, go to her website.

Players’ Podcast - Sean Boarman on the Kentucky Derby Preps

We’re back with a show that’s a bit of a mash-up between a typical Players’ Pod and a Pro Player Diary. We catch up with Sean on his gambling exploits here in the states and over in Hong Kong, and we get his thoughts on each one of the top 10 Kentucky Derby contenders, through the lens of his proprietary speed figures for the final round of Kentucky Derby preps.

Redboard Rewind - EP:219 Clay Sanders

Spencer and Clay talk about three races from Oaklawn’s Saturday card (races 3-5-7). Some angles we talk about why betting Broberg first off the claim and dropping in class is not automatically negative and what to look for when finding a $100 winner.

Harness Players’ Podcast - MGM Borgata + Blue Chip Matchmaker Finals & Fraser Downs Pick 4

This week on the Harness Players’ Podcast, join host Mike Pribozie as he and guest analyst Murray Slough kick off the show by breaking down the Late Pick 4 sequence at Fraser Downs for Friday, April 19 and offering a few spot plays for good measure.

To wrap up the show, Edison Hatter, Ray Cotolo, and Derick Giwner talk the $10,000 Guaranteed Pick 5 at Yonkers Raceway on Monday, April 22, which includes the $457,000 MGM Borgata Pacing Series Final for older pacers and the $276,200 Blue Chip Matchmaker Final for older pacing mares.

Harness Players’ Podcast - TheStable.ca Special Showcase w/ Laura Brower

This edition of the Harness Players Podcast features an interview by Mike Pribozie with Laura Brower. Laura is a very satisfied owner with thestable.ca, getting involved with harness racing after her brother, harness racing broadcasting legend Dave Brower, passed away tragically a year and a half ago. She tells her story of how she got interested in the sport and how thestable.ca was able to grow her enthusiasm and love very quickly while honoring her late brother.

Laura’s passion for racing shines through with every part of her story. It will be impossible not to want to learn more about thestable.ca when one is finished listening. She talks of her trips to the racetracks, the barns, and keeping up with her horses via Anthony’s daily videos.

Check it out and visit thestable.ca for more information.
