The Lowdown
It’s Blue Grass day! The biggest card of the meet features 11 deep races, five of which are graded stakes. It’ll be a dry day with a Fast main track once more, and I would imagine the turf to be Firm this afternoon following yesterday’s Good going. The opening day card was very formful, except for the featured G1 Ashland S. wrapping up with a 20-1 winner. I’m expecting yet another low-priced kind of day with any long shots likely to come in the non-stakes undercard events.
