The Lowdown

The final Saturday of the 2023 Keeneland Spring Meet awaits us, featuring two graded stakes across the 10 races card. As usual, plenty of good allowances accompany those events, although just like yesterday the early portion of the card lacks bigger fields. That being said, they’re still competitive races which will be plenty playable this afternoon.

Rain did end up coming into play in the back half of yesterday’s card but didn’t affect track condition. However, the precipitation stuck throughout the evening and into the night, which means we’ll definitely need to watch how the turf course is labeled when the card opens.

Who To Watch

Tyler Gaffalione - What a Friday for Gaffalione. He bagged four wins on the card, including just one favorite, and opened up a healthy advantage in the standings. With Luis Saez out of town today he’ll have every chance to blow this race open with nine mounts on the card.
