As quick as it came, it is now coming to an end. It has been an impressive meet so far at Kentucky Downs, one of the most high quality and unique race meets in the country. With many of the main summer circuits coming to a close, Kentucky Downs offers an intriguing perspective from both a betting standpoint, as well as a for the avid racing fan. With horses coming from all over, it creates the value and challenge of handicapping and betting that horseplayers crave, as well as offering a unique on track experience up close and personal with world class turf racing.
On top of the major racing from KY Downs, the Breeders’ Cup Win and You’re In series continues to heat up with action all across the globe. Stayed tuned on Saturday from KY Downs for the Calumet Turf Cup and FanDuel Turf Sprint. As well, this week’s Players’ Podcast offers a special edition coverage of Irish Champions Weekend from Leopardstown and The Curragh.
With many of the European connections getting ready to take the flight to Del Mar in November, this weekend will be a great form guide to get to know the european raiders and be ready for when they set foot on american soil.
