Weekend Update - Twinspires Let Loose and Players' Podcast
It feels like crunch time in the Brooklyn Bunker. Not only is the Breeders’ Cup rapidly approaching and with lots of deadlines for articles and Monster Pods, but I’ve made my life EXTRA complicated by deciding to run a marathon this fall.
You see, most years, you can’t do both the NYC Marathon and the Breeders’ Cup – they take place on the same weekend. This was one of the weird years where the BC is so late that they were staggered. So I decided back in early March (pre-COVID) that I’d do NYC this year.
Of course, the usual marathon ain’t happening. But I was convinced by DJ Unstable himself, aka Producer Craig to do the Virtual NYC Marathon. Check out how my training is going here:
