Players Newsletter - July 14th, 2023
I have returned from my travels abroad just in time to kick off what is easily the best part of every year in racing - Saratoga!
Back on this weekend’s Players’ Podcast, Nick Tammaro and I took a look at the Pick Six sequence at the Spa, as well as previews from Woodbine and Monmouth. Don’t forget to get involved with our friends on the Jersey Shore, where Nick Tammaro’s best bet of the Saturday card is #3 Bosserati in the Blue Sparkler Stakes, which goes as Race 9.
Other coverage of opening weekend at Saratoga included another great Horseplayers’ Happy Hour yesterday, which you can catch a replay of here. We are also happy to have another season of Baby Talk on the docket, and Ben Gowans of Gainesway joined me to discuss a pair of two year old races this weekend at Saratoga. Lastly on the Saratoga front, I once again encourage you to check out last week’s Saratoga Lifestyle Show, hosted by the Kinchen’s. It is a can’t miss if you are taking a visit this year.
Finally, our harness ace Edison Hatter hosted a great panel of guests to talk tomorrow night’s Meadowlands Pace and its supporting card. If you weren’t able to catch the livestream of the roundtable, make sure to check out the replay below.
