Players' Newsletter - January 15th 2021
Hello and welcome to this week’s newsletter. If you appreciate the various state-bred programs nationwide it’s a huge weekend with lots of stakes in Florida, California, and Maryland. Between Naomi’s show, the late week picks show, and our plus coverage, we’ve got a lot of information for you.
My Triple Crown coverage has begun over at the ATR site. Check that out for an overview of the preps series and a deep dive into the Lecomte Stakes, the highlight of a stellar Fair Grounds card from this weekend.
Two other notes: I want to say one more time how psyched I am about Acacia Courtney coming aboard as the new host of In the Ring. I learned a ton from her first show and can’t wait to hear more from her.

The reboot of In the Ring features a new host, Acacia Courtney. In the Ring will be an in-depth look at all the different parts of the thoroughbred industry’s horse sales. Acacia brings in Keeneland Sales Announcer - Kurt Becker and Lanes End Director of Sales - Allaire Ryan. Lanes End is responsible for the horses in the dispersal of the horses owned by the late Paul Pompa Jr., and also stands some exciting new stallions in Accelerate and City of Light.
