Players' Newsletter - December 8th, 2023
The biggest headline at ITM this week was our very own Eric DeCoster winning the RTIP Distinguished Student Award out in Tucson. Eric has been an absolute pleasure to work with and we look forward to keeping him in the fold for years to come. I enjoyed both his emotional acceptance speech and his Capstone presentation. He has a lot of passion and great ideas that will really help our industry moving forward. Congratulations, Eric!
Speaking of awards, I have a lot of dependents in my life: Susan, Perrin, several bartenders.
One of my favorite bartenders from years’ past is a woman a lot of you know, too. Desiree Jones of the Paddock Bar. In addition to being great at high-volume work, Dez is a skilled-mixologist. I’ve had plenty of her original concoctions and they are excellent (you can tell she’s got a palate) but my favorite night drinking with her involved Brian Nadeau, the legend DVP, and a bottle’s worth of Pisco Sours (her national drink by heritage).
I mention Dez because she is up for an award. And I want you all to take my word and vote for her!! If you really want to be hardcore you can vote multiple times through the 14th.

I know she’ll appreciate it and so will I. And best of all, you’ll have something to talk with her about the next time you see her across the bar.

PTF
