A little bonus content for In the Money Plus from me today. I’ll give some notes on the Belmont Pick Six. I’m visiting friends on the Jersey Shore after a fun – if freezing – day at Monmouth yesterday. I tweeted the complete contest results. It was a rousing success, with 299 participants overall and Dylan Donnelly getting the win. I maintain it’s probably the best way to get an NHC seat.
Betting wise yesterday, I took advantage of the drift in odds on Castle Chaos ($18), whom both Nick and I liked. Cashed that nicely and that helped make up for some very average opinions elsewhere.
A lovely grilled dinner with friends followed, punctuated by a few drams of 12-year-old George Dickel. Pleasing.
Good week for Plus with extra shows for Belmont for Thursday/Friday. We’ll have some extra written stuff as well and a picks grid too.
Today I’ll be over at Monmouth once again, but also on TV for Sky covering various tracks (sadly not Monmouth itself).

I’ll try #7 LET FREEDOM SPRING. The Noda barn is so streaky and they haven’t exactly been on a heater, but I think there’s still room for them to have brought this horse forward from the previous barn. I’m expecting an excellent trip under Irad from the outside draw. Should prove best of speed and keep on.
Central Pride could run better after spending time on what appeared to be a negative inside last time but he’s just so exposed (1 for 16) and I think Ginnsu Warrior might just find himself too far back. So my pro 7 opinion is almost a negative 5-6 opinion.
