Without getting into too much detail regarding yesterday’s absolute fiasco in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf, we are back at it Saturday with some of the most competitive races run all year. Things are going to kick off at 12:05 pacific time with the Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Sprint.
RACE 4 (Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Sprint)
There is not much value to be had in a 5 horse race with a sub-even money favorite who will be tough to handle. I do think you can one punch an exacta trying to beat Gamine with Ce Ce in the hopes that Bella Sofia pushes the favorite enough early to soften her up.

RACE 5 (Breeders’ Cup Turf Sprint)
I like Emaraaty Ana, Gear Jockey and Extravagant Kid. They each have their own merits, and the first of that trio will enjoy a great trip stalking on the rail. I think Gear Jockey is a tremendously underrated horse who has run well in three tries since turning back to sprint distances. I’m very concerned with Extravagant Kid’s outside post over a course where the inside has been the best place. However, they are my opinion and have to be bet accordingly.
