This week, a shorter version of the newsletter with the Breeders Crown is on the horizon for the next two weeks. I hope everyone enjoyed the Red Mile stream on Sunday with Edison Live on-site at Lexington. That was such a great addition to the broadcast, with all of the interaction with the connections and the discussion of the wagering side. The USTA sponsored this Stream, and I would like to do more of this next year for the big events. Sig Sauer was a deserved winner of the KY Futurity after sitting off a wicked half-mile fraction set by Highland Kismet and Tony Adams. I can’t say, as I’ve ever seen a 52 4/5 half-mile split in a trotting race. Champion Karl was in position from the second tier to pounce but could have been compromised from chasing the wicked pace. His stallion deal was announced on the broadcast. The Red Mile put on a great show Sunday, and they had TV coverage on FOX. Incredibly, harness racing is getting the much-needed TV exposure that it has longed for so many years. I’m here for it. We just need to expose people to the sport on a consistent basis.
Here’s PTF and I looking at tonight’s Hoosier Night of Champions
Fun weekend ahead with two big nights at Harrah’s Hoosier Park on Friday and Woodbine Mohawk on Saturday with their Super Finals of their individual Sire Stakes programs on tap. We couldn’t cover them all on the Harness Players Podcast this week so we went with the two-year-old at Hoosier and the three-year-olds at Woodbine. Our usual coverage from Fraser this week where Contestjockey.com has another free contest. Tons of participation on the harness side at Contest Jockey with Fraser, the Raceway, Century Mile and Rosecroft now offering Live FREE contests with CASH prizes!
Lots of coverage coming next week for Breeders Crown.

Saturday Woodbine Mohawk Race 7 - (8) Crack Shot - was conservatively driven on 10/3 and he kicked 26 flat which should set him up perfectly for this OSS Super Final. Expect McNair aggression now.

Saturday Woodbine Mohawk Race 7 - (10) Stonebridge Wizard - Back in a big way last time after a month off. Has shown the speed to beat these and should be a nice price.
