Hello from sunny Del Mar! Great to be here however before we discuss the excitement of Breeders’ Cup, myself and the ITM team would like to send out our condolences to the family and friends of jockey Miguel Mena. The racing industry is a community and a family. At a time of year where we celebrate some of the best athletes in our sport, we lost a very special one this week. Our thoughts go out to his family, friends and the entire Kentucky racing community at this time.
On the racing scene here in California, Future Stars Friday is getting ready to kick off proceedings to start two of the best days of racing around the world. Thrilled to be in Del Mar and have thoroughly enjoyed seeing many colleagues and fans so far this week. The buzz around Del Mar is contagious and continues to ramp up each day as post time draws near. Make sure to check out all of the coverage of Breeders’ Cup this week, as well as the ample amount of great content put out by our ITM Plus team.
